2013 – From Georgia to Kyrgyzstan

In March 2013, I came back from Trabzon with my Iranian visa and got back on my bicycle. I cycled from from Tbilisi in Georgia, to Armenia, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and finally Kyrgyzstan where I swapped my bike for a donkey and went to walk in the Tian Shan mountains.

  1. And it´s July already and no other news from you…! Hope you´re doing fine and everything´s going well on your journey… Sun in heart, shanti shanti 🙂

  2. Hi Petra,
I am just back from the Pamir, this was just amazing, I followed the Afghan border for about 500km then went up to the pamir plateau, cycled 4 passes over 4000 meters, ate yack butter with shepherds in yurts… So far the most outstanding experience I lived in this travel. It’s so strange to be back in a city with all the noise and pollution…
I will write you an email soon 😉
    Hope you’re doing well,
    Take care,
    JP
